Empowering youth with knowledge, confidence, and dignity that will last a lifetime
World Health Outreach supports Days for Girls (DfG) International to bring menstrual health education and sustainable menstrual kits to rural underserved areas.
Many of the girls we reach either have no access to menstrual products or cannot afford them, leading to missed school days every month.
We deliver Days for Girls kits to give to those most in need, and create a safe space for students to discuss menstrual health openly.
Why it Matters
Menstrual health directly affects education, economic stability, equality, and overall well-being. Without access to products or education, many girls miss school or work, limiting their opportunities, and long-term potential.
Days for Girls Social Enterprises
We fundraise to purchase menstrual kits from Days for Girls Social Enterprises to ensure that every dollar stays within the community and supports:
Employment for local women who sew the reusable kits
Skill development and economic independence
A sustainable, community-driven supply chain
Contributions uplift both the students receiving the kits and the women who make them.
In 2025, we purchased and delivered 160 menstrual kits to girls in need.
Education and Training
Every kit distribution includes interactive educational sessions and are coordinated with school leaders to ensure meaningful engagement.
