The Hygiene Hustle 5K is a virtual walk, run, or hike created for oral health professionals who spend their days caring for others - this time, it’s about taking care of you!
This event brings our community together to celebrate oral health, total health, and the impact we make every day.
Invite your network to support your 5K or join you in the movement. Every registration and donation helps place essential resources into the hands of a child.
MILES for SMILES
Location and Date: Complete your 5K anytime, anywhere during the month of April. Whether you’re running solo, walking with a friend, or getting outside to reset, you’re part of a movement rooted in connection, wellness, and giving back.
Solo or Teams: You have the option to make it your own, or form a team and invite your colleagues, friends, and family, and have fun with it. Create a team name, pick a theme, or wear something that represents you, your clinic, or your community.
Share Your Photos: We’d love to see your Hustle! Share your photos on social media using #HygieneHustle5K and tag @worldhealthoutreach, or email them to info@worldhealthoutreach.com to be featured in our website gallery.

Impact
Smile Journey Backpack
Proceeds of this virtual event will go towards World Health Outreach initiatives, including our Smile Journey Backpack Project for children in need. Each backpack is a child-owned resource filled with a Smile School oral health book, oral hygiene supplies, and fun, engaging learning tools. The backpacks are distributed locally and globally to support early oral health education.
Donations: Make a direct impact by donating on the registration platform: $5 provides oral hygiene supplies for one child, $10 educational materials, and $20 for a fully equipped backpack.
Every registration and donation helps place essential resources into the hands of a child.
